2005 – newsXpress grows to 33 members in QLD and spans its wings into NSW & VIC. Our first NSW member newsXpress Castle Towers joins the group along with our first VIC member newsXpress Forest Hill. Mark Fletcher our fourth Director joins the newsXpress Board. We also welcomed our new CEO Mark Nagy to the newsXpress team.

 

2006 – newsXpress grows to 55 members nationally bringing on our first member in WA, newsXpress Margaret River and our first SA member newsXpress Beers. We host our first members meeting in NSW and in the same year announce our strategic partnership with Hallmark. By the end of 2006 newsXpress grows to 100 members nationally.

 

2007 – newsXpress grows to 120 members nationally. We open our first company owned store in Watergardens Town Centre VIC, we are to use this as a testing ground for both the company and members. newsXpress expands its member support team by bring on category specialists in Calendars, Season, Gifts & Stationery. HOT ink! and the Canson Create Art Centre are officially launched as brands exclusive to newsXpress members. newsXpress opens its first Sophie Randall  Card & Gift Store.

 

2008 – newsXpress grows to 144 members nationally bringing on our first members in NT, newsXpress Palmerston and our first in TAS, newsXpress Shoreline. We hold our first round of market fairs in June as well as our first National Conference in September on the Gold Coast. Sophie Randall expands to 4 stores in VIC. newsXpress also adds to its Business Development Team with the addition of 2 new team members in QLD and WA.
